Christmas Message

This is a letter to close on a wonderful term here in Scoil Mhuire gan Smál. It is written jointly by the principal Ann Hilliard and Chairperson of the Board of Management, Mr. Jim Stack. We will be taking enrolments in the New Year. Have a happy and safe Christmas.

Ms O'Carroll did some fabulous art for the festive season with 4th-6th Class. The highlight for the class was making Christmas decorations out of clay.

Dear Parents/Guardians

 As Met Eireann has today issued a Red Weather Alert for Kerry tomorrow (Tuesday Dec. 7th), the school building will be closed to all staff and students.

 The school will also be closed on Wednesday Dec. 8th for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.

Science Week Fun

Freddy McDonald 'The Scarecrow'

The Infants welcomed Freddy McDonald the Scarecrow into the classroom to celebrate Autumn time. They also created wonderful Autumn wreaths.

The Junior and Senior Infant class made bird feeders in support of our Green Schools initiative during this Autumn season.
